LOS ANGELES (AP) — Comic Dave Chappelle was tackled through a overall performance at the Hollywood Bowl Tuesday evening and a guy was later arrested.
Protection guards chased and overpowered the attacker, and Chappelle was in a position to go on his overall performance though the man was taken away in an ambulance.
The assailant was carrying a reproduction handgun with a large blade that folded out of it related to a pocket knife, in accordance to a picture unveiled by police.
Isaiah Lee, 23, was detained and arrested for assault with a lethal weapon, claimed Officer Alba Mendez, a Los Angeles Police Section spokesperson.
Lee was taken care of by health-related workers for an unspecified injuries and was booked into jail early Wednesday and held in lieu of $30,000 bail, Mendez said. It was not quickly identified if he had retained a attorney.
