The CMA Fest is becoming a member of other musical festivals in banning all imagery linked to the Accomplice flag for this year’s occasion.  

The four-day party in Nashville, which begins on June 9, lists “Confederate flag imagery of any type,” underneath its list of prohibited items and functions.

Stagecoach Pageant in Indio, California, this calendar year banned Confederate flag imagery and any other “divisive symbols” and “racially disparaging” shows.

State star Maren Morris has urged other state singers to simply call on festivals and displays to ban the flag. Luke Combs has also apologized for beforehand showing up with the Accomplice flag, declaring there was no justification.
